Clean, Quiet, Comfrotable room room right next to campus. Affordable rates and the owners are very friendly. Overall a great hotel.
An absolutely charming family run lodge. Not too fancy, not too sparse. Pleasant hosts. The complimemtary cinnamon rolls were a nice touch and the continental breakfast spread was appreciated!! So reasonably priced and conveniently located. Perfect for our needs.
We absolutely loved our stay at this charming small inn. Everything was super clean, and the owners were incredibly attentive, friendly, and responsive to every detail. My partner and I stayed five nights while in town for a wedding and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The location is ideal (roughly 20-minute walk from Williamstown). The property itself is peaceful and beautiful, with a well-tended garden, small pool, new fire pit, and stunning views overlooking a horse pasture. Our only (very minor) note is that the bathroom and shower are on the smaller side (think dorm-style) but that’s a small tradeoff for such a lovely stay. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in the area!
Absolutely the quietest and cleanest place I’ve ever stayed at! When traveling with my dog from GA we had a last minute change of plans and Mr. Ashwan was able to quickly accommodate us for the 4 nights we needed. He was kind and considerate throughout our stay, ensuring we had everything we needed. Even for my pup! Will definitely plan to stay here for next trip in the spring! Highly recommend this beautiful place!
Well-appointed, spacious, and sparkling clean rooms. The pool provided a perfect place to relax and refresh after a long drive. Manicured grounds with plenty of outdoor seating and a firepit, drew me outside to read and enjoy watching the horses on the beautiful adjacent farm. I appreciated the bike rack, as I brought two bikes. There was an ample variety of breakfast foods, and trays to carry breakfast outside or to the room. I appreciated every little touch, especially all the flower planters.
We had an excellent stay. The room was SPOTLESS. The manager was helpful + very friendly. My granddaughter, a hard to please teenager, said it was the cosiest hotel she'd ever stayed in.
We love the Maple Terrace for all family and friends visiting and for ourselves when we have home overflow. The owners are so friendly and helpful and the rooms are spotless. I love that you can set your own temperature and open the windows. A very restful place to stay!
I stayed at the Maple Terrace Inn for a quick overnight (Saturday to Sunday) during a hiking trip along the AT, and it exceeded every expectation. The room was spotless, thoughtfully laid out, and offered the kind of simple comfort and calm you rarely find anymore. Ashwan was incredibly welcoming and made the entire experience feel effortless. I’ll stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Williamstown area (or the Berkshires).
